How much of today are you losing because you are worried about tomorrow?

In this episode of The Great Hope Message, Jack Alan Levine addresses the fear, stress, and uncertainty that can take control of our thoughts. Worry often feels productive, but it cannot change the past, control the future, or solve the problems we are afraid may happen.

Jesus taught His followers not to worry about tomorrow because each day has enough trouble of its own. This does not mean believers should ignore responsibilities or avoid planning. It means we should prepare wisely while trusting God with the results.

Jack reminds listeners that God knows what they need before they ask. The same God who provides for the birds and clothes the flowers cares deeply for His children. When fear begins to grow, believers can shift their attention away from imagined outcomes and return their focus to God’s character, promises, and faithfulness.

Plant It. Feed It. Watch It Grow: How to Grow Your Faith

Faith does not become strong by accident. Like a seed, it must be planted, nourished, protected, and given time to grow.

In this episode of The Great Hope Message, Jack Alan Levine explains that accepting Jesus is the beginning of the journey—not the end. God places the seed of faith within us, but spiritual growth requires an ongoing relationship with Him.

A seed cannot grow without healthy soil, water, sunlight, and care. In the same way, faith needs God’s Word, prayer, worship, obedience, and fellowship with other believers. When these practices become part of everyday life, our spiritual roots grow deeper and we become better prepared for difficult seasons.

Jack reminds listeners that growth is not always immediately visible. A seed develops beneath the surface before anything appears above the ground. There may be times when it feels as though nothing is changing, but God may be strengthening your roots, developing your character, and preparing you for what comes next.

Believers must also protect what God is growing. Fear, doubt, distraction, temptation, and unhealthy influences can choke spiritual progress. We cannot continually feed our minds with negativity and expect our faith to remain strong. What we consistently receive will eventually shape what grows within us.

It is the decision to keep trusting God even when the answer is delayed, the path is unclear, or the outcome does not look possible. Abraham, Moses, David, and many others faced moments when God’s promises seemed beyond human understanding. Their stories remind us that God is not limited by what we can see.

Because You Said So: Trusting God Even When You Don’t Understand

Will you obey God when His instructions do not make sense to you?

In this episode of The Great Hope Message, Jack Alan Levine explores the difference between trusting God only when we understand His plan and obeying Him simply because He has spoken.

In Luke 5, Simon Peter had worked through the night and caught nothing. As an experienced fisherman, he had every reason to believe trying again would be pointless. Yet when Jesus told him to lower the nets once more, Peter responded, “Because You say so, I will let down the nets.” His obedience led to a catch so large that the nets began to break.

Jack reminds listeners that God can see what we cannot. His instructions may challenge our experience, logic, timing, or expectations, but His wisdom is greater than our limited understanding. Faith does not require knowing every detail of the plan. It requires knowing the One who gave the direction.

Who have you allowed to define you—your past, your failures, other people, or God?

The world often defines people by what they have done, what they own, how they look, or what others say about them. Jack explains that faith in Jesus gives believers a new identity. Scripture says that anyone in Christ is a new creation.
