“Yes, we saw a downturn in the Average Purchase Price of a Single family home in the Halifax/Dartmouth area from March until August as a result of increasing interest rates. But, during that time, we still saw multiple offers on homes where many were still selling above their list price. In addition, the average price of a home is still seven percent higher than last year and values actually increased this past month. This comes at a time when interest rates are the highest they’ve been for several years.”
