This episode tries to capture the launch of the Alice Hawkins Community Projects - a new era for the Woodgate Community Food Association, which has been a food bank operation in the Fosse area of Leicester for the past three years. It is now embarking on new projects to support the community, while maintaining its food bank activities.

This podcast is an opportunity to understand a little bit more about the charity Headway. I interviewed Ruth Johnson, Marketing and Engagement Executive for Leicestershire, Leicester & Rutland Headway. It was a chance for me to express my gratitude for the support they have given me so far as I recover from a Colloid Cyst which required surgery on my brain and a lengthy recovery process. It is also a chance to promote Headway's Christmas appeal called “Sheadway” which launches on Tuesday November 30. Any cash donations made between that point and 7 December 2021 will be doubled.
