Jesus often used parables to illustrate the nature and mystery of the kingdom of God. They are often not easy to understand, but it is through these stories that Jesus invites us to see, hear, and believe that God's kingdom is at hand. In this sermon, we set the stage as we explore Jesus' parables in greater depth over the next couple of months.
