While we talk about cannabis every day around here, it some areas of the country, the stigma against our favorite plant looks a lot different.

One of those places is St. Mary's, Ohio, where Veriheal patient Jason Atkins grows his own medical cannabis.

A few years ago, Atkins and his family survived a major house fire. After losing everything but a filing cabinet, Atkins suffered with significant symptoms of PTSD and depression. After getting his medical marijuana card, Atkins life took a more positive turn.
