Welcome to The Grieving Optimist.
This is a space for honest conversations about grief, loss, and the unshakeable belief that hope doesn't have to end where grief begins. A space where loved ones are remembered by name. Where nobody has to carry it alone.
In this first episode I share the story behind why this space exists. Not a mission statement. Not a brand introduction. Just the truth about what grief has asked of me over the course of my life, and why I kept leaning in.
You'll hear about a little girl at a funeral who understood something instinctively. A woman at a church event who hadn't said her son's name out loud in six months. And what I've learned from years of sitting with people in some of the hardest moments of their lives.
This episode is for anyone who has ever felt like their grief was too much, too long, or too complicated for the people around them. You are not too much. Your grief is not too long. And you are not alone in what you're carrying.
This is not about moving on. It's about the path ahead.
