Who doesn't love a great hotel deal??...
Especially if it's a deal for a great night's stay in one of the greatest cities of the world -- New York City.
Well, I had a great deal and experience as a guest at the Westin NYC Time Square last weekend, until I checked out last Saturday and realized that I forgot to grab my phone charger.
This podcast is my story of my experience of trying to retrieve the charger to no avail and the poor level of service I received.
And the big lesson in this for those who either have a business or wish to own one and service high tier clients is to offer magic from beginning to end - even when there's tragic endings like my forgetting my phone charger.
The story here is funny - kinda sad too because a 4.5 Star hotel, in my opinion, should have great protocols in place to support guests when they leave things behind but maybe that's just me.
If I were to rank my experience of the Westin NYC Time Square now after my lost phone charger experience, I'd give it a 3.5

We've been shamed into believing that it's ok to feel bad about how unproductive we are within a 24 Hour Period compared to our heroes and influencers - like the Elon Musk's, Jeff Bezos's and Oprah's of the world. And I'm here to set the record straight and say that this premise and comparison is WRONG.
We have to compare apples to apples and comparing ourselves to the business moguls in the world by saying we both have the same 24 hours in a day and shaming ourselves for not being as productive as they are is NOT comparing apples to apples. It's actually a form of self abuse.
In this podcast I use a couple examples and illustrations to make the point that not only do we not share the same 24 hours but we're hurting ourselves by even making the comparison.
In the end, I offer a simple 5-category framework that can help the avarage person get on track with making the most of their 24 Hours without the stress and shame that come from making ill comparisons of themselves to others.
Enjoy!

One of the things that causes subject matter experts/consultants to lose top tier clients is the lack of convenience embedded in their operating systems. In this episode I call out United Airlines for having one particular part of their system that causes friction and how to avoid making the same mistake in your business.

It's all fun and games until your 12 year old daughter calls you out for tolerating yellow armpit stains on your shirts...
In the podcast you'll hear the story behind her comment and how it's transforming my business and marketing efforts.

In the world today...
We face a deluge and overwhelming amount of information about what men’s health should be comprised of.
Leaving us confused about ...
What makes a healthy man well, healthy?
How athletic should a man over 40 be?
What should he be eating more or less of for optimal health?
How much drinking is too much with age?
How much exercise is enough?
How athletic and active should he be as he ages?
Should he still be able to dunk a basketball? Or settle for lay-ups?
How does a man recover from injury and get back in full athletic mode? etc.
My guest today, Tony Bevilacqua - Team USA Weightlifting Coach AND the Founder of Athletic After 40 has a track record with helping men address these questions and regain confidence in becoming athletic (and kinda sexy) after 40.
Listen now to learn about Tony's unique approach to fitness for Men over 40 but also for people in general who wish to have better health.
