You get a rare chance of hearing from a African American Father, who is 75yrs old, that was a parent of a gymnast.  My father, Wilbert Lyles Jr., was able to share his experience with fathering me through my gymnastics career.  It's nothing like a father's love and support through your life journey.  Here's a little of my personal story from my father's prospective.  I'm forever grateful for my gymnastics experience, the love of my Father, and having this personal interview with him.
