The Groove Cave

Getting back to the roots of house music this month with a mix of disco, funk and soul.

The first and hopefully not last of the sunny summer mixes. Lots of breezy organic deep house this month. Get the beers out.

A selection of French house from the French Touch movement, circa 1995–2000.

I picked out a selection of warm, synth driven, analogue style deep house this month, leaning more towards the electronic side.of things.

Back with a selection of jazzy, mostly organic house this month. Lots of vocal stuff and dreamy Rhodes pianos.

Some tracks from a collection I’ve been building for years. A lot of it sits outside the usual house and deep house I like to play, but each one was too nice not to snap up — so I dug in for a late night mix. Featuring music from Dreamcast, Lovebirds, Good Guy Mikeish, Mark de Clive-Lowe, and more.

Tunes for a rainy afternoon. Mostly deep house this month, with tracks from St Germain, Tour-Maubourg, Sek, Felipe Gordon, Ian Pooley, and more.

Straight house all the way this month with music from Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, Grant Nelson, Kid Massive, Art Of Tones and more.

Going with the second sunny weather mix of the series this month. A bit of a longer set, moving from chilled deep into some pure summer bangers. Tracks from the likes of Vince Watson, Jon Dixon, N.W.N, Kolter, Louie Vega, Red Rack'em, Dimitri From Paris, Manuel Darquart, Marcus Wyatt and more. That's a day for perching on a sunny rooftop bar with a cold beer. Hope you're all enjoying the sun and having a good one whatever you're up to.

This months mix features tracks from Ron Obvious, Black Loops, Romantics, Brawther, FBR, DJ Cream, Josh Butler and more. A big standout recently was Mirlaqi's brilliant Dances Of The Red Planet.
