Episode 487(not really) of the Groupchat Wrestling Podcast.

We sat out last week after the passing of Benjamin Satterley aka PAC - it didn't feel right to chat wrestling. This week we talk about why the show felt like perfection from start to finish, from Moxley holding everyone together to Hangman's emotional moment and Kenny Omega flying back from Japan, plus why the AI-image clickbait around it was so classless.

Then we switch to what's next: predictions, the Clockwork Carnage build to Wrestle Dream, The Acclaimed's future, Sheamus as a free agent, Swerve vs Hangman long-term, Ricochet as top heel, and a massive indie round-up with TNT, EVE, GPW, Atomic, Future Shock, Rev Pro, North, Discovery and more.

It's been an emotional week in wrestling and we dive straight in. Join the Groupchat Wrestling Podcast as we talk about AEW's Rebel Heart Dynamite and the Butcher/Andy Williams tribute show.

William Regal said Pac is the best British wrestler of all time. Is he right? We all have our own thoughts!

We also get into some fantasy booking! Should Sheamus, Dani Luna and Ilja Dragunov join Will Ospreay's new United Empire? And what about the Death Riders?

Blood and Guts has been announced but was that the right move? We cover potential matchups, builds, and participants and disagree on most of them.

Episode 98 of the Group Chat Wrestling Podcast is here, and somehow AEW has created its own version of the FA Cup.

We break down the Continental Cup format, who should win it, why the tournament could have been so much bigger, and whether it already feels more exciting than SummerSlam.

We also preview AEW Grand Slam México, including Mercedes Moné versus Willow Nightingale, Moxley and the Death Riders, Hangman Page, Will Ospreay, the possibility of MJF returning, and a ridiculously stacked card.

Plus, SummerSlam’s good moments, bad matches and very ugly nonsense, Danhausen, money on a pole, Robocop being disrespected in Detroit, and why AEW should let indie wrestlers qualify for the Continental Cup properly.
