"I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth." This is the foundational belief for almost 4 billion people across the world. But we usually find ourselves drawn to one aspect over another. For some of us, we find comfort in the image of God as a loving Father - available and attuned to our feelings, hopes, and needs. But for others, we are drawn to God the Creator, one who is all-powerful, all-capable, and all-present. But when we look at one aspect of God apart from the other, it creates problems. God's love without power is comforting but not capable. And God's power without love is impressive but harsh and distant. But we believe in a God who is both loving AND powerful. In this sermon, Rev. Stephen Lohoefer tells you why this makes all the difference.
I hope you'll join us at 10 am for church or church online.
