Today we continued our series, Conversations with God, with Matt Brown addressing a foundational question: Why should I pray? One common struggle in both culture and the church is believing that prayer is unnecessary, ineffective, or simply a last resort when things fall apart.
Prayer is not about informing God of what He does not know, nor is it an attempt to bend His will to ours. It is an act of repentance, dependence, worship, and trust. We pray because we need an intercessor, because the world is broken, and because we are limited but He is not. We pray to align our hearts with His, to seek His presence, and to remember that He goes before us and has our back.
See you next week as we continue this series on prayer!
