In this episode, I dive into the first step of changing anything within ourselves: recognizing that we can't hate ourselves better. Often, when trying to change something we dislike about ourselves, we tend to approach it from a place of self-loathing, which makes it difficult to initiate lasting change. Instead, we should develop our inner nurturing voice, which we often use with others but not for ourselves. Our brains are efficient machines that establish patterns, but they don't know which are appropriate or harmful. To change the way we talk to ourselves, we need to first become aware of the critical inner voice and call attention to it. We also explore the process of strengthening and developing our inner nurturer, a lifelong journey that can lead to success in various aspects of life. By developing a nurturing voice, we can propel ourselves forward in achieving our goals, learn to love ourselves better, and even embrace failure as a part of growth. Embracing self-compassion and nurturing can ultimately lead to a more fulfilling life. So, take the time to cultivate your own inner nurturer and have your own back in any situation. Thank you for listening, and have a wonderful week!
