A part of maturity is checking yourself. How often do we see the fault in someone else situation, and not realize that we are the transgressor in our own situation. Looking in the mirror really means to check yourself.

I have had to ask myself if I really trust God like i said i do? The answer to that question for me was no. I am learning to trust God more and more everyday. Proverb 3:5-6 gives the benefits of relying on God's wisdom and not our own. If we can trust anyone it would be the creator of the universe. The same God and creator that knows us by name.

Jesus came to the world to serve. He even washed his disciples feet. Are we better than Him? How much more should we serve?

We are more comfortable with our bondage than we are our freedom. Sometimes i just want to go back to before my purpose. I realize that going back to who I used to be would be comfortable. I know that it would be seemingly easy. I do know that no matter how much i want to go back, I have to realize that God didn't bring me this far to leave me.

Have you ever gotten tired of fighting God? Have you ever felt so tired of fighting God for what you wanted to keep that you let Him have it? Have you ever been so tired that you just let Him take the thing He was asking for, but the other things you needed help with too?I have been there. When you let God have it, you no longer have to bet that burden.

I truly wondered if God could really forgive me again. I had done the same thing again and now I was expected to believe he forgave me again. What i had to understand and believe is that God forgave it all. He forgave the sins of past, present, and future. Now just because he forgave you does not mean there are no consequences.

The best way to make God laugh is to tell him your plans. This has been so true for us. Join us as we chronicle some thing we have learned to this point in our relationship. I am glad to have a special guest, my fiancé, Autumn Mack with us.

The second lie i had to overcome was that God couldn't use me. I felt so unqualified and unworthy. Even in all of this,God reminded me that i was still called.In the latter part of Romans 8:28 it goes to show why calling is so hopeful. It also shows in 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 what God can use.

Believing the lie can only be combatted with understanding and believing the truth. One of the first lies, I had to overcome was that I can't change. I didn't believe that I could change. I had to realize that Jesus Christ died for me to change.

"Just one more time" is usually followed by crazy story of what went wrong. Just one more time is seen negatively and often has negative impacts, but What if we changed the narrative of just one more time to something that glorifies God?
