Jazz Social, returned for its second festive outing in the basement of Colchester's, Three Wise Monkeys on Saturday 27th Dec 25.
The difficult second album....?
Behave...... It did not disappoint!
Dave Malone & Mark Sweet, set the perfect scene, enabling Nick Bartlett to tip toe the fine line between hard percussive, not on shazaam tracks, and fusion floor fillers.
Michael Cooper & Chris White, rounded off the night perfectly, giving the classics and newer found floor fillers exactly the right amount of breathing space. (Norman Connors, Galliano, Hank Mobley & Alice Babs, always make me a happy man)
Thank you to all who attended, dressed and danced - nobody failed to impress.
Please keep an eye on the Jazz Social's, 'socials';
