  • DT Daily 3/16: Dolphins Free Agency Preview; Melvin Gordon Talk
On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Daily Podcast I am joined by Luis Sung of the Five Reasons Sports Network and the Brawl Network as we preview Dolphins free agency and go over a list of players and chat about if we would like to see them signed by the Miami Dolphins. We talk about the rumor that Miami and Melvin Gordon have interest in each other if the price is right. We talk about if you would want to see Gordon sign a contract and join the Dolphins? We also give our thoughts on Joe Thuney, Jack Conklin, Chris Jones, Byron Jones, Robbie Anderson, Anthony Harris and many more players who Miami “might” have on their radar this week. We talk about the new CBA that has passed and in a 17 game season would you like to see Miami maybe play a cross-conference rival each year? Have Miami and Tampa Bay play each other every year at a neutral site? We also chat about if Miami should sign Cam Wake and have him play 1 more season for the Fins.

  • Go B1G or Go Home: Sports are over, for now! What is going on?
The Coronavirus has caused sports leagues to suspend, cancel or delay their seasons. There will be no March Madness this year as the NCAA has cancelled the Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. Initially, the NCAA said all tournament games would be played without fans. On Wednesday, March 11th Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz tested positive for Covid-19, and the whirlwind began.

After Gobert's positive test, the NBA did not hesitate to suspend the current season. The NHL followed suit, and postponed their season. In addition, the NHL prohibited any team activities. This means no practice and no workouts which could suggest fans will be waiting for a while before seeing a hockey game. MLB has pushed back the start of the 2020 season. They are encouraging players to stay at their respective teams spring training headquarters.

This show is not about voicing our opinion on the cancellations but rather a show that is sharing facts and giving our thoughts on what is going on.
