  • DT Daily 2/10: Fins to Trade for Gurley? Miami to Trade Xavien?
On today’s DolphinsTalk.com Daily Podcast we talk about the report that Todd Gurley is on the trade block and any team that trades for him and his contract might also obtain a 2nd or 3rd round pick for doing the Rams a favor and relieving them of that contract. With all of the salary cap space Miami has should they consider a trade like that? We also talk about the Vegas over/under line of 5.5 wins for the upcoming 2020 season and will Miami win more than 5 games this upcoming year. Also, should and will the Dolphins consider trading Xavien Howard. Miami moved a lot of big name players last year and Xavien with his off the field issues and looming suspension may be a guy Miami looks to move as part of a deal come draft time. Plus, Tua or Burrow….straight up who do you want Miami to get! We debate it.

  • Ringside Boxing Show: The Fat and the Furious, Trouble for Tank, Too Much for King Tug, Debunking with The Rougaroo
We chew the fat this week with expert analysts Travis Hartman, Rizwaan Zahid, and John J. Raspanti, who weigh the truth-or-fiction aspects of Tyson Fury's claim that he'll weigh at least 270 pounds for the Wilder rematch in two weeks. Is he friggin' kidding?

Wilder counter-punched with mind games of his own, a claim that he broke his arm in training camp four weeks before the first fight with Fury.

We also break down consequences that could be awaiting Gervonta Davis for roughing up his girlfriend in an arena full of people -- a videotaped assault that resulted in his arrest in Florida, home of a whole bunch of hangin' judges.

We evaluate the punishment Ivan Redkach is enduring (a $300,000 financial hit and a one-year suspension) for nipping Danny Garcia's shoulder in the heat of combat.

And we unpack Gary Russell Jr's once-a-year stellar performance against a rugged Mongolian in Showtime's main event on Saturday.

It's all a prelude to our main event -- an in-depth interview with The Rougaroo, former WBA super lightweight champ Regis Prograis, who is hoping for an April showdown with Maurice Hooker (who would have a 13-inch reach advantage). Regis also debunks rumors that he's in a hurry to jump to 147 pounds and take on the likes of Terence Crawford and Errol Spence. Avenging his loss to Josh Taylor is a much-higher priority, he says.

Dennis Taylor is host of The Ringside Boxing Show, editor-publisher of www.ringsideboxingshow.com, and co-author (with John J. Raspanti) of "Intimate Warfare: The True Story of the Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward Boxing Trilogy," an Amazon bestseller.

  • After the Gridiron: Interview With Retired National Football League & Canadian Football League Player Kerry Carter
Kerry enjoyed a 3 year NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins. He then went on to play another 5 seasons with the Montreal Alouettes. It wasn’t until he left the carribbean till he started playing football. He quickly fell in love with the game, but always had a fondness for volleyball. After being heavily recruited he chose the University of Stanford due to their great football program, academic prowess, and mother’s wishes. He excelled quickly at Stanford, becoming a starter as a freshman. His hard work later earned him a spot on the Seahawks, however an injury ended his time in the NFL while with the Redskins. From there he played for the Alouettes where he won 2 Grey Cups, in 2009 & 2010. After football he was drawn to the marketing world starting businesses in that field. He is now with Atavus, a company that provides information and training to help football programs improve tackling. For more information please go to the website.

  • 49ers Weekly with Dexter Carter - Super Bowl Review
Join Matt Andruscavage and former 49ers running back Dexter Carter as they recap the 49ers' disappointing Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

They start with a breakdown the first half and the 49ers' final drive. Should Kyle Shanahan have called timeout sooner?

Next, they go through the second half as Jimmy Garoppolo led the 49ers to a 20-10 lead with nine minutes to go. What should have happened? Were there some non-calls? Did Kyle Shanahan fail to run the ball more? Was Jimmy Garoppolo to blame?

Dexter breaks down what was perhaps the biggest play in the game, the 3rd and 15 bomb to Tyreek Hill and shows what Kansas City was trying to do and how the 49ers made the mistake that probably cost them the game.

All in all, what a season for the 49ers! So many had them not making the playoffs, but this was as fun of a season as they have had in a long time.

Thanks everyone for listening all year!
