  • 49ers Weekly with Dexter Carter - Steelers Preview
Join Matt Andruscavage and former 49ers running back Dexter Carter as they break down Sunday's victory against the Cincinnati Bengals as well as preview this week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The San Francisco 49ers have started the year 2-0 for the first time since 2012 and for the first time since 1989, they opened with two straight road victories. They completely dismantled the Bengals from start to finish and they are looking like one of the top teams in the NFL.

They now have a chance to open the season 3-0 for the first time since 1998 as they face the Steelers, who are now without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is out for the season.

Sunday's game didn't come without some adversity as left tackle Joe Staley has a broken fibula and will miss six to eight weeks. It appears rookie Justin Skule will be the starter this Sunday and he will have his hands full. The 49ers will have to do all they can to help the left side and out-scheme and out-coach the Steelers.

  • Enswell Boxing Podcast: A look at "Dazzling" Darren Sutherland
The name Darren Sutherland will be forever synonymous with Irish boxing. Around the mid 2000's he and his team mates eventually smashed the dreaded tag of 'nearly men' and at the Beijing Olympics of 2008 they won Ireland's first Olympic medals since the unforgettable scenes in Barcelona 1992 almost 16 years previously when Wayne McCullough and Micheal Carruth took silver and gold.Subsequently his promising professional career opened out before the boxing worlds eyes - only to be stopped before it ever truly began. In this little tribute - Ciaran McIvor of Boxing Bant's joins me to talk about his upcoming documentary - where he looks back at Darren's life - speaks to his team mates and former coach.Safe to say Darren Sutherland will forever live in the memories of those who were lucky to watch him fight. And for those who weren't so lucky - hopefully this short tribute and Ciaran's upcoming documentary will give a good insight into one of the greatest to wear that Irish vest.
