After years of complaints, grievances, questionable judgment, passenger stupidity, and absolutely zero personal growth, The Grumpy Stew Podcast has reached its final episode. Probably.
Grumpy digs through some of the old material and steals the parts worth stealing: the Blank Stare, black coffee, Canadian football, the Church of Fuck 'Em, Jetway Jesus, selective recall, and the ongoing mystery of how anyone ever thought putting him around the public was a good idea.
There will be no emotional retrospective. No lessons learned. No touching celebration of personal growth.
Maturity and personal growth are for chumps.
The podcast may be ending, but Grumpy Stew isn't disappearing. The YouTube channel and social media will remain, because passengers are still doing stupid shit and somebody needs to document it.
Thanks to everyone who listened over the years. All three of you.
This is The Grumpy Stew Podcast: The Final Episode.
Know how you take your fucking coffee.
Don't be a buddy fucker.
Read the fucking signs.
And remember the central teaching of the Church:
Fuck 'em.
Amen.

Spirit Airlines is gone… and the collapse happened fast.
In this episode of The Grumpy Stew Podcast, we break down what actually happened to Spirit Airlines, why the ultra-low-cost airline model started failing, and how rising fuel costs, razor-thin margins, competition from legacy carriers, and a failed financial lifeline pushed the airline over the edge.
This isn't a boring finance lecture.
This is the real story—from the perspective of someone who watched the collapse unfold in real time while working in the airline industry.
We're talking:
Plus the usual Grumpy Stew observations, sarcasm, and general disbelief at how modern society functions.

If you've ever tried to nonrev lately, you already know…
standby is basically a suggestion.
In this episode of The Grumpy Stew Podcast, we break down why nonreving doesn't work the way it used to—and how oversold flights, standby lists, and airline math have quietly turned a "benefit" into a gamble.
From 47 people on the standby list to zero available seats, this is the reality of nonreving in 2025.
We're talking:
Oversold flights and why airlines do it
Why standby lists keep getting longer
The real reason nonreving feels impossible now
The emotional rollercoaster of hoping you get a seat
Plus the usual Grumpy Stew observations on human behavior, summer travel chaos, and why everyone suddenly thinks they can dance.
