The GRYD Network

SuperBowl week, The Luka Doncic/AD trade has the world BUZZING, Baseball Hall Of Fame talk, DeAaron Fox to the Spurs and many more tonight on the 8 Oclock Spot.

Tonight’s live show dives into the NFC and AFC Championship games! I’ll break down how the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs earned their trips to the Super Bowl. Plus, I’ve got a message for Cowboys fans—it might be time to let go, and Jerry Jones needs to make some tough decisions! I’ll also analyze the coaching moves from the Jets and Raiders: Did they pick the right leaders in Aaron Glenn and Pete Carroll to turn their fortunes around? Tune in for all the hot takes, breakdowns, and bold predictions!

The Patriots are rounding out their coaching staff with the additions of Josh McDaniels as the Offensive Coordinator, former Interim Bears HC Thomas Brown as the TE coach & Pass Game coordinator, and even former Jaguars HC Doug Marrone. Here is a staff that is being put together, that has very little ties to Vrabel. I am not mad about the coaching hires but I do wonder how much of this staff are Vrabel's guys? The Bruins are a complete dumpster fire b/w the drama that was the Swayman signing, the story of Marchand vs Pastanak, & getting blown out a number of times his season. The ultimate question with this team is who are the 24-25 Boston Bruins? They had a few decent stretches surrounded by a lot of bad ones. In the immortal words of the The Who: "Who are you?" The Celtics just can't seem to get their act together. On the 1 hand, they play like they did vs Golden State last week but on the other hand, they play like they did vs Houston last night. This coaching staff is dying on the hill of analytics & regression to the mean rather than playing real basketball. There are good nights & off nights but they make excuses for their opponents & themselves all of which with an analytic mind I may throw a line in about the Red Sox

Tonight's panelists are GRYD contributors, Arthur Hurst, Paris Brown, and Erik Ruiz! They'll each have two minutes to discuss whether or not the Buffalo Bills got robbed in their AFC Championship loss to the Chiefs, what they made of the blowout win by the Eagles over Washington in the NFC Championship Game, who they think is the best head coaching hire in the NFL is, and whether or not the Cowboys have become the league's biggest laughing stock. In the winner-take-all round, the top two point-getters will cement their picks for who will win Super Bowl 59!

On tonight’s LOADED show, I’ll explain why the Lions absolutely missed their greatest opportunity to win a Super Bowl with Dan Campbell, the reason why Jayden Daniels’ rookie season is the best we’ve seen to date, and how Buffalo and Josh Allen finally cracked the code on how to be their most dangerous selves. I’ll then detail why folks blaming the Chiefs’ win on the refs for their win over the Texans isn’t founded in fact, the quality Saquon Barkley shares with Tom Brady, and what made Ohio State’s road to being National Champions so impressive.

With brand new host, Alfred Parsard Jr, it’s VERSUS NIGHT featuring Gryd contributors, Arthur Hurst and Paris Brown! They'll have two minutes to discuss their biggest takeaways from the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs, if Coach Prime should entertain the Dallas Cowboys’ coaching vacancy, and whether Scott Boras has hurt Pete Alonso, and other clients’ stock in MLB free agency in recent years. In the winner-take-all round, the top two point-getters will give their take on whether Jim Plunkett should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Tonight’s panelists are Gryd contributors, Arthur Hurst, Paris Brown, and Tyler Redington! They'll all have two minutes to discuss whether the Steelers have any chance of upsetting their bitter rival, the Ravens in the Wild Card Round, if the Vikings should move on from Sam Darnold if they lose to the Rams, the most attractive NFL head coaching job, and which NBA team of Jimmy Butler! In the winner-take-all round, the top two point-getters will give their take on who will win Super Bowl 59!

On tonight’s LOADED show, I’ll explain what the entire NFL should learn from the Raiders firing Antonio Pierce after his first full season as the team’s head coach, as well as why bringing back Mike McCarthy would not be a bad thing for the Dallas Cowboys on Carving Up the Context. I’ll then list my Top 10 teams in the NFL headed into the Wild Card Round on Bryson’s Best 10, the biggest weakness of every NFL playoff team, and my predictions for the College Football Playoff Semi-Final!

On tonight’s LOADED show, I’ll explain why Brock Purdy has proven without a shadow of a doubt that the 49ers would destroy their franchise by signing him to a $60 million per year contract, as well as why why Patrick Mahomes missing out on the Pro Bowl ensures that the Chiefs will play in Super Bowl LIX. I’ll then detail why the Philadelphia Eagles should be commended by sitting Saquon Barkley despite him being 100 yards short of Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record on Carving Up the Context, Bryson’s Best 10 NFL teams entering Week 18, and why the targeting call at the end of the Arizona State/Texas game didn’t cost the Sun Devils a win.
