This week we're back with another episode of the podcast talking about one of my favorite topics to discuss - Finding, Hiring, and Enabling the RIGHT VP of Sales for your business and setting them up for tremendous success.

As an executive search leader for Sales and Marketing leaders at some of the most exciting software companies in the world, I've seen my fare share of VP of Sales successes and failures. Unfortunately, more don't work out than do. 70% of Saas First VP Sales don’t make it to 12 Months. It’s one of the most common, and also most devastating mishires in startups.

For the ones where it works, there is a common theme. It all comes down to clearly defining what your businesses goals and needs are for growth, taking your time to identify and qualify the closest match on a few key qualifiers, and then setting up and investing in an environment that will enable this sales leader to bring you overwhelming success.
