In this episode I wanted to read a passage from my memoir-in-progress. As a first generation Muslim American I was struggling with wearing the hijab. I describe the personal experience I had with God that helped me to find peace while following the desires of my heart.

I am Iffath and I wanted to start off my podcast by sharing a story I published in Planner Girl Magazine that I believe captures the essence of listening to the guide inside.

I talk about how acting on my intuition has helped me with my struggle with anxiety and depression. Additionally, I talk about how I managed to write my memoir as a busy mom of three young kids during COVID, which is when the article was written.
