The next episode of the Guuuzan show pits our podcasting duo against another daring double with Unified’s Alex Evans & Connor Mcilhinney! The unified team takes Brad & Joe on a journey through their history with the club, the improvement in their game under coach Jelleme, and the friendships they’ve forged along the way. As the title suggests there’s a little bit of a local rivalry brewing as some of our Unified team members head off to college... what side will you choose?

The first team’s Teen Titan comes crashing into the pod this week, Cooper Sanchez makes Guuuzan show history as our youngest guest so far! Our resident recent retiree recollects the past two seasons with the rising star, from them training together for the first time to his series of starts under Manager Martino. Coop also takes us on his journey to becoming a young pro, crossing the seas and training with opponents twice his size as a three year old. Can Coop make it through the podcast without getting a yellow card? Only one way to find out…

Ahead of mother’s day the Guuuz show studio is filled with flowers and welcomes a very special guest, Mrs. Breanne Guzan! The Guz duo educate Joe on all things parenting, long distance love, living in the U.K., and most importantly, the difference between detergent and fabric softener (it confuses us too Brad). They also delve into the history of their relationship, from high school sweethearts to youth sport managers for their four kids. Hope everyone has a Happy Mother’s Day!

Another away trip for Episode 7 of the Guuuzan show, this time behind the scenes at the Men In Blazers event this past Friday with USMNT legend, Clint Dempsey. Clint talks shop with Brad about his playing career, retirement activities, and old stories playing with and against Atlanta’s favorite goalkeeper. He also gives insights on his upcoming documentary “You Don’t Know Where I’m From, Dawg”, chronicling his life and playing career. Additionally he addresses the rumor that he is the lost third member of Outkast…

Episode six of The Guuuzan Show takes us on an away trip to Mercedez-Benz Stadium, where we welcome 5 time Winter Olympian Elana Meyers Taylor. Elana takes us on a journey through her path to becoming an Olympic bobsledder (or sleigher), and her recent gold medal victory. She also gives her insights into motherhood, how she balances that with world-class training and advice for how us amateurs should slide down the mountain. Pro tip: DON’T go down without equipment... apparently not as fun as it sounds.

For episode five of The Guuuzan Show, the crew welcomes on four-time Paralympian and two-time World Record Sprinter Jarryd Wallace. Jarryd unpacks how his life went from being turned on it's head from a an unexpected diagnosis to a life-long calling stretching far wider than he could've ever dreamed. From inside the headspace of an elite olympian just breaths before the start gun, to fighting for the future of prosthetics on the floor of Georgia State government, Jarryd's story and energy was enough to nearly knock Brad out of his seat and enough to knock anybody else's perspective into gear through his self-belief.
