The Guy Blog Podcast: A Podcast for Wrestling and MMA Fans

Rousey lost, no doubt about it and now we all have to get used to a new champion. However I want to talk about the why more than the what.

Holm won because of preparation and skill, 2 things that Rousey doesn't lack, so what made the difference in the octagon. That's what I'll be going into in this particular episode.

Let me know what you think!

First of all to my subscribers, thank you for downloading my podcast and following my show. I really appreciate your support despite me not giving you content on a more regular basis. That's going to change, more content because I really love doing this and because you deserve that commitment from me after you gave me yours by subscribing to my show.

It really is time to make a change. Part of that change is being even more open and transparent. This is just that. I'll explain my decision to change Hey Guys The Podcast to a new name, The Guy Blog Wrestling & MMA Podcast.

Listen to this episode to learn about how John Cena is allegedly meddling in the Divas division. My opinion on what he really is doing.

Gilbert Melendez is suspended for 1 year for a positive test... Interesting part is he didn't even fight the suspension. In this episode I'll talk about what I think the future holds for one of the best lightweights in the UFC.

The interesting tidbits for this fight:

McGregor has to lose 27 lbs in less than 10 days

Mendes is literally the next best thing after Jose Aldo, considering his only 2 loses came to Aldo himself

McGregor has an 8 in reach advantage, and a 3 in height advantage.

Hey guys, here I am, about to talk to you about UFC 189... yet again. I know, I know, it’s been a bit much. But don’t worry, this time I’m here to talk about the OTHER title fight on the card... You know, the so called “co-main event”.

It’s Rory “Waterboy”, “Ares”, “The Red King”, “What’s My Nickname Today” MacDonald vs Robbie “I got a chance” Lawler.

This is a rematch of a split decision war that could have gone either way.I believe that Lawler won that fight, a lot of others don’t. In the end it doesn’t matter. Both fighters left a close fight in the hands of the judges... That’s like throwing a dart in the dark, wherever it lands, don’t complain.

New episode, same description.

Is Connor McGregor still fighting Jose Aldo? Did Aldo admit McGregors the best fighter in the UFC? Is Brazil calling out Ireland for allowing Connor McGregor to exist? How many strippers has McGregor bedded since moving his camp to Sin City? The answers to these questions are NOT in this episode, but other more pertinent information about this PPV is!
