On this episode, Brandon will be interviewing our special guest, Callen McGibbon.   My life started with a single mom in a Trailor park in Northern Ontario Canada. Obviously living in a house on wheels in -20 weather creates some challenges. Like my mom crawling under the trailer with a propane torch thawing out the water lines so we can have water.  

Fast forward to my career and first passion, strength and conditioning. Somehow I have ended up winning three gold medals as a strength coach for Canada as well as multiple gold medals as a member of the coaching team for Canada's special Olympics powerlifting team. In the middle of all that I have started 3 companies, 1 failed, 1 is great and my most recent one is a fast growing tech company operating in 3 countries now. How I even got into tech is ridiculous considering I never owned a cell phone until 2010.  

Of course during all of this I have a family, 4 kids best wife in the world and a dog. Our youngest child was born with a macro/micro lymphatic malformation which landed her and my wife in the hospital fighting for their lives for 8 weeks, but all in all, they are happy healthy and my inspiration in life. I share this as it is a experience that has helped shape my character and love for life.

With your host: Brandon Croucher!  On this episode, Brandon will be interviewing our special guest, Rennie Elvin & Miss Carly  Rennie did a benefit for a friend that was murdered in March 2021. After he paid off his funeral he had some extra money so he decided to donate it to charity. Ever since he's been volunteering and helping. Looking into the eyes of those who once thought they were hopeless and now seeing hope in their eyes, is priceless. Rennie also had his own non profit Profit named The Brotherhood Bikes Project in which he started in 2012. Now he simply helps bikers that are in need of repair or maintenance on their motorcycle. Rennie loves helping and serving  Miss Carly and her family decided to open their dining room table up to feed the hungry and homeless in our neighborhood. Since then, they have grown exponentially, being able to feed as many as 1,000 people a day sack lunches, while still staying small and intimate. They feed people 24/7 right out of their home and meet with people in crisis to troubleshoot their situation offering resources and assistance. Many people come here because they aren't ready, or comfortable going elsewhere. For that reason they are able to help the most vulnerable in their community such as human trafficked women, those fleeing domestic violence, the chronically homeless, and those living in the grip of addiction. They break down barriers for people and pride their selves on acting fast at providing real-time emergency solutions to people who have fallen through the cracks. They work hard to get people into drug treatment rapidly, as well...usually within 24-36 hours and they have a 99% success rate doing so. They are a big imperfect family of volunteers, servant-hearted individuals who have decided to be of service to those in need. On this episode, Brandon will be interviewing our special guest, Dr. Robert Melamede. Our guest has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the City University of New York. Dr. Melamede retired as Chairman of the Biology Department at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in 2005, where he continues to teach and research cannabinoids, cancer, and DNA repair. Dr. Melamede is recognized as a leading authority on the therapeutic uses of cannabis and has authored or co-authored dozens of papers on a wide variety of scientific subjects.

Dr. Melamede also serves on the Editorial Board of The Journal of the International Association for Cannabis as Medicine, the Scientific Advisory Board of Americans for Safe Access, Sensible Colorado, Scientific Advisor for Cannabis Therapeutics as well as a variety other of state dispensaries and marijuana patient advocacy groups.
