We start with the old bones of the universe: Precursors, Forerunners, and the accident that birthed the Flood. That context reframes the Halo Array as a terrible calculus, not a shiny relic. Then we jump to the human side: messy politics, a Spartan program built on stolen childhoods, and Reach as the beating heart of UNSC power. Inside that crisis, Dr. Halsey forges Cortana from her own mind, and the mission sharpens—get her out. From there, we crash into Combat Evolved’s ringworld mystery, meet a too-polite monitor, and face the moment when Cortana reveals the truth about the rings.
