Last week we addressed singleness and whether or not it sucks. We ALSO addressed the BIG elephant in the room... culture/society and tell it to keep it moving. Once we move past that, we can move on to the real progress, shifting our perspective! Before we can even address whether or not singleness sucks, we first have to address and call out the BIG elephant in the room... 🐘 Yes, THIS is a hot mess and if we as singles DON'T see what it's doing to us each and every day, we aren't going to get very far in our singleness season.

Today we're taking a look at jealousy! I know, who wants to even touch that? As singles, we especially have it come up sometimes when we think about where we are and where we want to be compared to our married peers. However, sometimes not dealing with jealousy head-on can stifle growth, ruin relationships, and keep you from reaching your fullest potential. Yikes, right! So, let's continue to work towards being our best selves, and use some tips to move us further away from those feelings when they come up! 

Welcome back! Today's podcast takes a look at some things I noticed in the book of Ruth. Many think that Ruth was sitting idle waiting on Boaz. 😂That's very far from the truth! She wasn't waiting on Boaz in the sense of waiting for him to come along so she could live/start her life.  Boaz wasn't living recklessly either during his bachelor season, either. He also wasn't just treating people any old way, hoping that the right one would come along. I honestly think their (Boaz & Ruth's) happy ending has a lot to do with their love for and devotion to Christ (outside of the fact that Boaz was her Kinsman Redeemer). Hopefully, taking a closer look at their story during our singleness season will both encourage and inspire us to keep moving along when it gets tough. 

*Correction- Fruit of the Spirit... not fruits. :) **

This podcast episode is one of those episodes that can go either way. 😎 While this episode is geared towards singles (because ya know, now is the perfect time to get our money in order) there are some married folk and coupled folk that could benefit, too.
