If attacked The Female has the power to claim her power by transforming herself, into a deer, for example, the sacred animal of the goddess Artemis, and her attacker, as Circe does when she turns Odysseus’ crew into pigs. Transformation is feminine.

That part of ourselves that mediates between what you know that you know, and where knowledge actually is, is where archetypes are seated.
