The Gospel - the Good News of Jesus Christ - is the greatest news in the history of the world. We are taking seven weeks to explore the different components of the Gospel message.

Without doubt, these are uncertain times we are living in. During this period of COVID-19 restrictions, plentiful bad news on the airwaves, and the potential for fear and anxiety at a seemingly high rate, it can be difficult to remain hopeful. In this sermon, Sean Bosse shares how we can remain strong during these uncertain times - through faith in Jesus Christ the Lord.

So far, we have examined Jesus' Triumphal Entry in Jerusalem, as well as his substitutionary death on the cross for the payment of sin. This brings us to the greatest day in the history of the world - Resurrection Sunday. The truth about Jesus is that not only did he die - he rose from the grave, triumphant over death. This is an occasion that definitely warrants celebration!

The name "Good Friday" is both incredibly ironic and incredibly fitting. In many ways, the day was far from "good" - the Lord Jesus suffered an agonizing death on a Roman cross, dying to pay for our sins. At the same time, Good Friday is incredibly good, as we recognize the incredible love God has for humanity. We see both the depth of our sin and the depth of God's love. Easter is the highlight of the Christian calendar. It is both the most tragic and magnificent week in the history of the world. On the one hand, we see the horrendous suffering and death of the Lord Jesus, but on the other, we see his amazing victory over death. As we consider the Easter story, one thing is clear: Jesus wins.

In the eighth and final message in the Letters to the Churches: A Study in Revelation series, Pastor Braden teaches from Revelation 3:14-22 on the church in Laodicea. Jesus had nothing good to say about this church; his rebuke is based on the fact that they were lukewarm in their faith. The same warnings and encouragements still apply to us as believers today: we are to faithfully love, serve, and centre our lives on Christ, for his glory and our good.

In this seventh instalment of the Letters to the Churches series, Pastor Braden teaches from Revelation 3:7-13 on the church at Philadelphia. This church was a rarity - Jesus only had good things to say about them! We are encouraged from this text to stay faithful to Jesus and the mission he has given us - not on on own power, but on the power he supplies to us.

In this sixth instalment of the Letters to the Churches: A Study in Revelation series, Pastor Braden teaches from Revelation 3:1-6 on the church in Sardis. The church in Sardis had the reputation of being alive, but Jesus classifies them as being dead. In this message, we look into what a dead church can look like, and what we can do as believers to ensure our faith does not trend in that direction.

In this fifth instalment of the Letters to the Churches series, Pastor Braden teaches on Revelation 2:18-29 about the church in Thyatira. Though this church had lots of things right, Jesus issues one stern rebuke: that they tolerate sin in the camp.

In this fourth instalment of the "Letters to the Churches: A Study in Revelation" series, Pastor Braden teaches from Revelation 2:12-17 about the church at Pergamum. Despite being located in a difficult ministry context, the church at Pergamum did not deny their faith in Christ. However, the Lord Jesus rebukes them for their apostasy, their falling away from the will of God.
