What does it mean to be a house of prayer?

The bread and cup are a holy sign that point beyond the bread and juice to the broken body and shed blood of Jesus. Communion points the church to experience God’s grace and presence. Communion is a sign of remembrance, grace, sanctification, unity, equality, and Kingdom come.
