Call it a war of nations. Call it Goliath against a much stronger David than in the Bible. Call it the Dodgers against the world. Whatever you prefer, this World Series should be a legitimate heavyweight bout that could potentially shape the short-term future of baseball (2027 notwithstanding).In this postseason, we've had tremendous feats of individual strength, the emergence of new pitching workhorses for several teams, and heartbreak. Oh, the heartbreak was legendary all its own. More than a few teams might have reached the end of their competing windows or squandered their best shot.This episode is in dedication to that madness... and the insanity that should hopefully come in the World Series itself.
