The Haunted

When a brutal murder shakes a quiet English county, detectives uncover a terrifying truth;  an ancient creature they thought was only a myth is awake… and it’s hunting again.

Based on the story of Black Annis, a terrifying blue-faced old crone who was said to prowl the countryside, slaughtering it occupants. She lived in a cave in the now residential Dane hills of Leicestershire, but our story is set in the fictional region called Hanmere.
