This week we look at repentance and what the bible means by repentance. We look at various scriptures but mainly Romans 8, which paints the picture of the action required for repentace.

Today we look at how scripture views the word 'salvation' and how we optain it. In this first section, we look at how scripture explains salvation in three parts, BEFORE, IN and AFTER. We will see it is a broad term that we use for a specific moment, the point of .conversion. We also set the scene for the coming weeks using the first gospel sermon in Acts 2. We see the important markers of CONVICTION, REPENT, BAPTISE, HOLY SPIRIT, and SEPARATION. We will explore these markers in weeks to come.

This morning we start our mini section on the Gospel and Salvation. We begin in Philemon and see what Paul shares with his dear friend. We look at the importance of the gospel overflowing out of our heart and how heavily Paul viewed a brother in Christ.

This week we look at 1 Corinthians 13 and the importance of love in the believer. We look at why Paul holds love in the highest regard and why we must choose love over anything else, particularly the spiritual gifts.

We look at the final section of 1 Corinthians 14 and look at the issue of disorder when the church come together. This section throws light on many key issues that Christians have been debating for years. We aim to add clarity and context to Paul teaching here.

We move on 1 Corinthians 14 this week and look at how Paul continues his teaching on the gifts of the Spirit, in particular tongues and prophecy.

We continue 1 Corintians 12 and look at the issues and solutions Paul is outlining to the Corinthian church. These issues cause division, which is the wrong picture of Christ and God has arranged and combined the many parts to form unified body.

This week we continue to explore Corinthians 12. This morning we look to see what meant in verses 4-6 and explore the differences between the gifts, services and works of the trinity.

This week we begin to explore 1 Corinthians 12. Today we focus in on the context and reasons for what Paul is trying to teach. We also pin point some key passages on the purpose and use of the gifts.

This week we begin exploring the Spiritual gifts by laying the foundation on which they are to be used. The Corinthian church had no issues with believing they had gifts or using them but they were using them for themselves and not for the benefit of the body. We begin by look at chapters 8-11:2-16 as an overview and then dig deeper into 11:17-34.
