The Hawkeye Huddle

Good vibes up and down and all around after the Football destruction of Washington in Seattle and two days of very hopeful media visits with Men's and Women's Basketball.

Pardon the technical difficulties, but there is a show...part on computer microphone, part on phones, and part on regular microphones. Trent Condon of The Lunch Rush on 1350 and the Locked On Iowa podcast sits in for David for a solid discussion of the weekend that was in Iowa City as the college football world got a great taste of why Iowa City is special. Lots of football talk of course too, and some hoops recruiting news to get you set for Iowa's visit to Washington for a huge game this week.

A win for the ages in Ann Arbor has the boys celebrating mightily yet keeping an eye on the next big hurdle, this week’s tilt with Ohio State at Kinnick.

With a convincing and thorough beating of Northern Iowa in the rearview, the nonconference season is a success. Now it’s time to step up to the big time and take on the Wolverines of Michigan in the big house this week! Is Iowa ready? The boys try to figure it all out.

A closer than expected win over Iowa State probably should have been expected and the boys break it down fully as well as talk about the big recruiting weekend in Iowa City.

Finally, the boys have a game to dissect. But the opponent and the on-field temps make it difficult to tell as much as they'd like. None-the-less, it's hate week with Iowa State on tap for Saturday.

It's the first real Gameweek of the year as the Hawks take on Northern Illinois on the gridiron on Saturday. But the boys also have updates on a huge week in Field Hockey, Soccer, and Volleyball where all three squads went without a loss.

An unplanned issue pushes the boys to Wednesday for the first show of Season 23. But, not to worry, they have everything covered from preseason football talk to some hoops and additional fall sports news. Iowa's longest running Hawkeye podcast is back!

Season 22 of The Hawkeye Huddle comes to a close with plenty of discussion of Iowa's invigorating run throught the Men's NCAA tournament, and what is ahead in the world of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

After 21 years of futility, the Huddle finally gets to discuss an Iowa Men's Basketball Sweet 16!
