With the very fashionable accessory that has made it on every Malaysian’s must-have list, the masks we wear to protect our respiratory system have not only made the country look like a huge lab experiment. It has also made us more responsible over our health, given our choking lesson back in 97/98. While we take precautionary measures this hazy season (again), many of us wonder - is this going to be an annual event none of us signed up for? And if so, why are we putting up with it?
