Two years ago, Kaylene was in a rock climbing accident where she lost her hand and her leg. She barely survived, and now lives as a double amputee. She has good days and bad days, but we got to talk to each other on a bad day. You'll be privileged to hear what life is really like for those who live in chronic pain in limitation, and you'll be uplifted by knowing that God is good, even amidst the suck.

Haven Faith Shepherd lives life with no legs, but she says if that's the worst thing she has going on in her life, it's not that big of a deal. Even though her story has an intense beginning, God has claimed her as His own from the start, and she lives a full and vibrant life of redemption. Born in Vietnam as the result of an affair, her biological parents believed the only way for them to be together was to commit suicide as a family. Strapping bombs to themselves and holding Haven, the bombs exploded and Haven was thrown 25 feet away, losing her legs in the process. An American family later saw her in an orphanage and knew she was meant to be a part of her family. Growing up in the US, Haven now is a part of Team USA for swimming and is a Paralympic hopeful for 2021. Listen in and be encouraged that no trauma is beyond God's reach and His goodness overshadows what we often perceive with the naked eye.

Michelle Eastman has lived her entire life with cerebral palsy. A triplet with one sister who has a more severe case of cerebral palsy than she does, Michelle has learned how to relate to her own life with a disability, how to navigate relationships involving disability, grieving the loss of what could have been, how to navigate people praying for her healing, how to carry the stares of others and then release them to God, and so much more! Nathan Whitten was born in Russia with only five fingers and hip dysplasia. Told he would never be able to live a normal life, he was given up for adoption and then raised in the US. Contrary to doctor's expectations, Nathan has overcome the odds stacked against him, graduating from college, becoming a teacher and a coach, and qualifying for the World Games Team for the United States on his way towards trying to qualify for the Paralympics. Nathan's way of living without excuses and defending those in need will challenge you to view those with physical differences, see God's heart in adoption, and fight for your destiny.

Yet even with an 80 percent chance of dying from heart failure due to anorexia, Tiffany did not become a statistic.
