For eight years, I prayed for one thing.

A baby.

When the prayers seemed unanswered, I finally reached the place where I told God,

"If motherhood isn't Your plan for me... please take this desire away."

What happened next wasn't anything I could have imagined.

A nursery painted before there was a baby.
 An adoption journey.
