Christine Powers is a cathedral of sound. She has the most amazing voice, it gives me chills every time I hear her sing. She is the founder of 7 Million Voices One Heart Movement. Her talents extend to being a writer, poet, metaphysical mountain climber, energy healing, and presenter. Christine is an activator for those longing to know themselves and be free. She offers her music, workshops, and adventure retreats as gifts of awakening. She lives in the Adirondack Mountains of New York and is dreaming up a tiny house – micro-community and spiritual adventure camp on her 100 mountain acres.
Christine believes we’re unconscious of the healing properties of our voice, something that works even when we stub a toe! We use it in a healing capacity every day—with ourselves and with others. It’s right under our nose. Christine shares her journey from her first solo performance in grade school, to dropping out and getting kicked out of college, to guiding others to share the power of voice to heal themselves and others.
Christine never had to work for her voice. This became an issue in college where she was pushed harder and didn’t have the discipline to keep up. Her ego got in the way and the fear underneath it had her identity twisted up with the power of her voice. After that, she didn’t sing for an entire decade. It took longer still to untangle her story and end up where she’s at today. Her emotional intelligence has to catch up with her intellect. But she attended a spiritual retreat at the age of 30, sang in front of a small group of people in a mountain cottage, and it was like being reborn.
Now Christine is set on helping others on their spiritual path, finding their voice to show up simply as themselves. If you’re interested in learning more from Christine you can contact her through her webpage at ChristinePowers.com
