What can we learn from the older brother of the prodigal son in Luke 15? For Vivian, it was a realization that in order to overcome the cycle of insecurity and rejection, her relationship with God needed to be elevated from transactional to transformational. When we stop performing for God and for the church, and yield to God's direction, what will emerge is something that is exceeding, abundantly more than all we can ask or imagine.

On this episode of The Healing Series with Ameera, I was led to reach out to whoever is feeling this burden in their heart where they desperately want to walk in truth but don’t know how to begin. Walking in truth simply means honoring God and obeying His commandments. He’s made it very simple and very clear and all we have to do is ask for grace to be able to walk in this truth. We are not perfect but we see that Christ is perfect and being connected to Him releases the grace for perfection upon our lives.

What exactly does healing mean for you? Well, the revelation I've received over the years is that healing is actually the act of surrendering all of your wounds to God. It's the surrendering of your pain to His Lordship and understanding that your ministry lies in turning that pain into purpose.
