Keep It Simple Sinners! 

What can often happen to us in our faith journey is that we can easily overthink it! God is always trying to bring us back to some very simple principles. If we can just get two things on straight, they will help us in our walk with God and help us in our walk with one another: believe in Jesus and follow his example by laying down our lives for each other! God can do amazing things if we strive to live according to these principles.

Doesn't it feel good when we belong to something or someone? It gives us a sense of confidence and pride. We can experience this same sense of belonging with God in His church as well! To feel confidence and pride in Him, all we need to do is abide - see His love, practice His righteousness and love His children. There are a lot of claims being made nowadays but we can't just believe everything we hear right? In 1 John 2, John addresses some claims that were being made: people claimed to know God and to live in Him, as do we! But how do we really back up this claim? John gives us two ways: to live as Jesus lived and to love as Jesus loved.
