In this The Heart of the Story with Gary Metivier we introduce you to Tracy Hepner, a volunteer bugler. Inspired to perform for others, she found her calling using her talents to give a gift to veterans and their families. Now, with a shortage of people available to pay tribute at military funerals, she is working harder than ever and training the next generation.
In this story she explains why this is so important to her. She also gives us a lesson on how to play.

In this The Heart of the Story with Gary Metivier we meet an amazing woman who raised twelve children! She shares some stories she has never told anyone, from the struggles of feeding 14 people at once, to dealing with childhood illnesses that would target several kids, to the smiles that sweep across her face when talking about babies and her kids and grandkids. Somehow she still loves being around a bunch of kids.
Oh, she also happens to me my mom. And this is our first interview. Find photos on my facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/metiviermedia/

In this The Heart of the Story with Gary Metivier we talk about caring for our seniors who may have no one to turn to right now. As our country is in isolation, there are seniors out there in their homes and adult communities that have no family. The suggestion is that we adopt a grandparent. Befriending a stranger can have positive affects for you and them. Simple phone calls or facetimes or skypes can be life changing.
