With the season in jeopardy, we decided to give you guys our predictions as to who we think will win the end of the season awards. If the season was to end today, who would win these awards. From MVP to 6th man, we cover all the awards and put into consideration how some of the Heat players fit into these awards. In today’s episode, David and Steven propose what the Miami Heat need to do to improve the team during the 2020 off-season. The Heat will be off the books from some pretty hefty salaries and will have the flexibility to improve their roster. Things become complicated, however, as the free agents of the 2021 off-season are the real prizes to claim and the Heat will want to retain cap flexibility in order to acquire some of the league’s best players. And so, how should Pat Riley approach this off-season in their quest to win another NBA Championship. Stay tuned.

What unbelievable turn of events since our last episode. This past Wednesday, the NBA suspended play for the rest of season as Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz was the first player to test positive for the Coronavirus. Since then, the world itself has seemed to turn upside down as we all have felt or seen its impact in some form of way. The crew reviews the Heat’s last game before the season was suspended as they lost a disappointing game to the Charlotte Hornets. We also discuss what team has the most to gain from this extended free time off. Many teams, including the Heat, have players nursing injuries. If the season were to eventually continue, how would the teams that are now injury ridden affect the league if they were to become healthy?

The crew address a surging topic within the country as the Coronavirus pandemic spreads into the sports world. How should the NBA and other sports agencies address this major nationwide social concern? On the bright note, the Heat finally get another win on the road against the Washington Wizards. Sounds like a great win but concerns still loom as it felt like it was the Wizard’s game to lose. Finally, as we approach the end of the season, we discuss our picks for the NBA finals. Tune in!

The Heat closed the season, 3-1,  against their in-state rival, the Orlando Magic, in a tightly contested match-up where the Heat were able to pull away with a very entertaining victory. Both Duncan Robinson and the “Human Torch” Terrence Ross led their team in a highly efficient scoring duel. Their 4-game winning streak would come to an end, however, as the Heat fell to New Orleans Pelicans in their next game. Despite doing a great job defensively against first-time All-Star Brandon Ingram, the Heat struggled mightily from the three-point line as only one other Heat player besides Duncan Robinson was able to score from distance. The crew also touches up on some very interesting news that has been occurring throughout the league in these past few days, including some injuries that could potentially cause significant changes to the Eastern Conference standings.
