No shows to review this week, but a few off-handed comments on what I did watch. One thing I did watch was #UFC260 and I have some thoughts on #MiocicvsNgannou2. Plus, is Peacock TV going overboard with #wokeism? No, and I'll tell you why.

Miracles can happen.  A blind squirrel can find a nut, and two women can have a better than expected match in AEW.  As a matter of fact, it was probably one of the best matches in the short life of AEW so far.  The question is: is this a function of the booking leading up to this match, or the right wrestlers finally "getting it".  Listen and find out.

The "Light's Out" match between Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker still didn't elevate this episode of Dynamite; it was more of an aberration.  Listen why it was still a bad episode, plus why WWE Raw wasn't better.

Just like an AEW Deathmatch, the "big name" free agent who will "outwork" everyone ended with an underwhelming fizz instead of a huge bang.  Christian Cage signed with AEW, intensifying the bidding war between AEW and WWE so much so that The WWE is afraid to give another current WWE Superstar his release.

Find out how AEW Revolution was terrible, only to be made worse by the next Dynamite.

Here we are, a year later...from John Moxley as the challenger for the AEW Championship to......John Moxley as the challenger for the AEW Championship.  So much has changed since then, including Paul Wight signing with AEW.

Even better than that, "The Almighty" Bobby Lashley wins the WWE Championship --long overdue.

Sadly, we lost the last stalwart of the territory days as the wrestling community says goodbye to legendary promoter Jim Crockett Jr.

This week, I watched MLW Fusion and witnessed "Filthy Island"...no, that's not the name of Epstein's hide-away.  "Filthy" Tom Lawlor and Team Filthy hosted this week's edition of Fusion, and it wasn't bad, at least not as bad as other people seem to think it was.

Plus, who signed with WWE NXT this week, and who objected to a story line he was going to be put in and actually was in the right about it?

The only wedding I shed a tear at was my own --save your marriage jokes.  However, I've never felt the urge to cry BECAUSE of a wedding, yet here I am, suffering through the hot garbage of AEW Beach Break and another terrible segment with Miro.  It didn't get better until Moxley "went to sleep" after a wrestler from another promotion ran in and attacked him from behind.
