We need to shed the academic shroud we have left it in and realize that theology is for the working man. It is for where you live, breathe, and eat. It is for where you laugh and where you cry. It is the anchor that holds.

The only thing we like less than being told to give, is how much we are supposed to give. But if we can get past the church or the pastor always asking for money, and if you do actually come to this church you know we are not always up here asking for money. We talk about this once a year. Jesus said this is a major heart issue. I think when we have a major heart issue, once a year is not too much.
