  • Ep: 3 Getting Directions Home

I was seven years old, hanging onto the edge of a pool on a summer day in the 1980s, when I slipped under the water — and left my body. In this episode, I'm telling the full story for the first time: watching a crowd gather around myself on the ground below, following a presence I couldn't see through a dark tunnel, and emerging onto a shore so vivid that nothing since has come close to matching it.

I'll walk you through what I saw on that beach, the figure whose hand I took, and the choice I was given — stay, or go back to a life I was told would be hard. I'll also share what happened years later, when my father — who never believed me as a kid — finally asked me to tell him the story again, just months before he passed. It's a moment I didn't understand the weight of until much later.

This episode is about what I carried out of that tunnel, how it's shaped every hard season since, and why I finally felt ready to share it out loud.

  • Stop Hiding - God Already Sees You

In this episode we go back to Genesis 3 and sit with the question God asked Adam and Eve after the fall - "Where are you?" That question wasn't confusion. It was an invitation. Today we talk about the ways we hide from God in our shame, our sin, and our regret - and what it looks like to finally come out.
