I believe we often don't realize just how much of an impact our parents have on us until we are adults.

Author, Grief & Trauma Coach, and Business Owner Claire M. Schwartz  recently appeared on Unarmored Talk podcast and reflected on growing up in a toxic household and how she recognized, accepted, and overcame the impact of her childhood experiences as an adult.

I hope her story inspires current and future parents to gain a better understanding of the impact their behavior can have on a child, recognize behaviors that are a detriment to the child's development, and be willing to change them for the child's future benefit.
