In this episode, I speak with Jon Dwoskin - an executive advisor, business coach and motivational speaker who’s been called the “business whisperer” for his skilled and compassionate insights into what can keep a corporate culture from thriving. We talk about how to take a business from unstuck to thriving with a particular focus on the importance and methods of creating and using detailed plans. Something for everyone within.

At age 23, he created one of the first internet marketing companies in America, then went on to great success at several national commercial real estate firms. • 526 Derek Rydall – The Abundance Project
    The Abundance Project

"Life only has one agenda and that is for the ever-expanding expression and giving of itself. The nature of life is infinite and inexhaustible so life already has everything so there is no principle or motivation in life to get to anything." Derek Rydall
In this episode, I have a really cool conversation with Derek Rydal in regards to his latest book The Abundance Project.

Derek explains with clear insight, knowledge and passion the concept of the Abundance Principle and then sets the framework to discuss the 7 Abundance Activators. In understanding and practising this 7 principles, we can grow into greater abundance across all aspects of our lives.

This interview is so profoundly insightful and powerful that I expect many of you will want to relisten to it a number of times. Connect with both Derek and me to tell us what you thought and to ask any follow-up questions. Enjoy!

  • 525 The James Altucher Show – Podcast Reflection
James Altucher is the king of vulnerability and the weirdest looking guy in the entrepreneurial space that I know. That's only a couple of reasons why I love this guy.

James is an intelligent dude with incredible stories, experiences and very well connected. He's a businessman, entrepreneur and angel investor who currently sits on the board of a billion dollar revenue company.

James talks openly about making millions by building and selling 8 figure companies and also admits to losing it all several times over. I think what attracts people the most to James is his authenticity.

This is my reflection of his podcast - The James Altucher Show

  • 523 Leigh Martinuzzi – Complacency
“The tragedy of life is often not in our failure, but rather in our complacency; not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in our living above our ability, but rather in our living below our capacities.” Benjamin E. Mays

Complacency is a bitch. It’s like a double-edged sword. The dictionary defines it as have an uncritical or smug sense of satisfaction with oneself or one’s personal achievements. Nothing wrong with that, is there? Perhaps there is. Complacency may be a cause of ignorance and can result in a slowing of progress. I think for that reason it may even take us towards stagnation. Why can’t we be pleased with our current achievement and ourselves? Firstly, I believe that a heavy focus or smugness with self is a cause for the majority of our suffering. Secondly, complacency is a major cause of human error. What are your thoughts and stories of complacency?
