God wants to be your friend. In all our conversations with God we should always have reverence. Our relationship with God has multiple layers. He is our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and Father. He is whatever you need Him to be. Some days I need wisdom and He is my king. Other days I need forgiveness and He is my savior. And for some days I need someone to lean on and He is my friend. Rick Hawkins once said, “Happiness is living with Passion.” - Rick Warren once Said that before he gets out of bed in the morning, he will just sit there for a split second and say, “God if I don’t get anything else done today, I want to love you more and know you better.” Time and trust is the difference between an acquaintance and a friend. Psalm 8:4-8 New King James Version (NKJV) 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit[a] him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than [b]the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field, 8 The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.
