Finally! We're back - sorry about the wait, but I was busy on the range. Today we'll do a little catching up on random stuff....get to a few match results with friends from the Dead Zero Shooting Park and CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park, pop into an Equipment Engagement to "throw" some info and opinions out there, and finish out with some more random thoughts of the day. Thank you for joining, and I hope you enjoy the episode!
Well.....why not an impromptu in-person interview? Mr. Liam McKenna stopped by to shoot the Tennessee State High Power Championship at the Dead Zero Shooting Park in Spencer, TN and was kind enough to donate 15 minutes of his time for some general high power chit chat. While it's not a full episode, we hope you enjoy the episode nonetheless!
Our next guest, Morgen Dietrich, keeps us company today during our second interview. Morgen is a multi-distinguished, decorated smallbore, mid range, long range, and fullbore champion. Morgen shares a little bit about his background in shooting as well as some invaluable tips to developing the physical and mental qualities of championship-level shooting.
Well, we finally have our first guest! Today, respected high power shooter Liam McKenna and I dissect what makes him tick both on and off the range for just over an hour. Learn about Liam's thought processes behind shooting, traveling, loading, and general approach to shooting Across the Course High Power with his Service Rifle. We both hope you enjoy the interview!
....and we're back. Thanks for giving me a quick breather, but we are back into action with another episode featuring some catching up items, a few tips from our seasoned vets in the New Shooter segment, dive into a couple of funny moments in Stuff I Heard at the Range, and finish up with a quick Tubb Talk for the Eliseo UMRS / Tubb 2000 showdown. The next episode will be a collaboration with our first guest, and I couldn't be more excited. See you out there!
Episode 46 is hot off the press! Today we'll dive into some catch-up items from the last few weeks, get in a few shooter shoutouts, chat about some new shooter items thanks to a few wonderful listener suggestions, and dip a toe into the new saga, Tubb Talk. Thanks for the continued emails and support! Enjoy the episode and shoot well.
It's certainly been a while! ...but we're back with a quick rundown of the 2024 Camp Perry National Match experience. We'll chat about the preparation fiasco getting ready to leave for the National Cup Match, get a little in depth on the National President's 100 match, and cover the rest of the fun before giving a brief look behind the curtain to what's coming up for the rest of the year. Thanks for stoping by, and see you on the range!
Welcome to the last episode before heading off to Camp Perry! Today we'll play a little catch up, dip into the Load Lounge (04:00) to see where all of my brain cells are expiring, chat about Atmospherics for a few minutes to prevent any "unforeseen circumstances" (15:23), give a few well deserved Shooter Shoutouts (29:57), and finish up with the plan for the next month or so. Good luck at Camp Perry, and see you on the range.
Welcome back to the High Power Hangout! Episode 43 is jam packed with goodies like the 6BR Saga, 'taking a trip' into the Load Lounge, chatting about a service rifle barrel swaperoo, and covering some discussions that came about thanks to the Offhand Clinic hosted by the Veterans Family Brigade at the Dead Zero Shooting Park. Listen up! This one has some interesting info. See you on the range!
It's HPH time! Thanks for listening today where we'll catch up with a Results Rundown (10:17), have a chat about a new toy in the ...spoiler alert.... Tubb Talk (22:26), and finish up with talking about "outsourcing" your brass (35:11). Thanks for stopping in, and see you in a few weeks!
