The High Risk Wrestling Podcast

The week That Was 8.19-26.22

Heat. That's the theme of the week. So much heat and it looks like AEW are out of the Honeymoon Phase. There are some major beefs going on backstage and I'm here to talk about it all. All Out and Clash at the Castle are on the horizon. The build to those events keeps going. So much is going down and I've got you covered. There's a major injury as well. Strap in.

It's getting a little hot in here. Yep, it's that good ole X-Pac Heat. That Go Away Heat. We don't want you here. Pops and Heat are synonymous with wrestling. What happens when the Heat gets so bad that fans want nothing to do with you? Well, we've got a new series for you and it's taking a look at just that. Plus, the WWE are pushing forward to Clash at the Castle, IMPACT has fallout from Emergence, and there's some rumblings going on with AEW. I'm covering it all so lock in and enjoy the show.

Everyone loves a good comeback and that's what today's episode is all about. We're starting another new series and it's all about wrestlers that have left a company for one reason or another and have, well, come back. There are a lot of big names here. Also, the HHH regime continues with a lot of positivity. A World Champion has returned in AEW. Impact had their Emergence event. To top it all off, there so many good matches this week and you could just put your feet up and enjoy.

NOTE: I was having some technical difficulties recording so this show will be a little off and I apologize for that.

Finally! We can continue Faction Warfare. There's been so much going on that I've had to postpone it. Bayley is back and she brought some friends with her and that's the basis of today's episode--all female factions. I do my research so I'm always able to find some. Put an episode together. The HHH regime has begun and you're slowly seeing some of the changes he's making. AEW is bringing us Battle of the Belts III. Are Sasha and Naomi returning? Will there be another new hire? Were Kacey and Katana finally able to become Tag Champs? Come on in and find out.

A little late to the party but I'm here. Technical difficulties not withstanding but I got the episode up. Summerslam has come and gone but how was it? What was the match of the night? Are Brock and Roman really done? Did Theory cash in? All of your questions will be answered. Impact is building towards Emergence and AEW brought us Fight for the Fallen. Let's do it.

Well, that happened. That actually happened. Vince McMahon retired. Left. Whatever you want to call it, but he's out of here. Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon are co-CEOs and HHH is back in power. What does this mean? What's next? There are so many questions that need to be answered. I've a few myself. We're still building towards Summerslam and finishing up Fyter Fest. There's barbed wire everywhere.

Fyter Fest. Summerslam. Emergence. It's all coming together. I'll tell you this, Impact has been on fire lately and AEW brought some banger matches this week. Of course, I've updates with Naomi and some injury news as well. Strap in and have fun. Also, Fuck Logan Paul. Don't forget to check me out on Friday Night Yerr with the Blerd Cartel.

This episode was sparked by the idiotic signing of Logan Paul. That's it. I did my research for mor stories and here we are. If you can't tell, I hate Logan Paul. We've got the MITB fallout with a new Smackdown Women's Champion. A New TNT Champion. Wrestling is still real to Eddie Kingston. Now we build to Summerslam.
